Strippin' paint on that banister Skargo?....ug! Circa 1850 GEL...works well and minimal mess. Been there, done that.

you know, we talk back and forth and some have been on here for years, i think it would be a good idea to put a face with your name. be nice to meet people, at least see who we are talking to. and maybe a pic of your boat. after all, this is why we are here, for our boats. maybe? i'll post mine.

I knee jerked that comment.....stripped a bannister in my first house....after the first weekend of stripping it, it looked simular to that.....stayed that way for months before we re-visited the project and finished it....nasty work.

We just built our house 3 years ago so it better not need any work like that.

After we sold our old properties in '05, we had to rent an old farm house while the new house was under construction.
The farm house was built in 1840! It was neat but good luck trying to heat an old place like that.
