Okay,

So first off, we bought the boat used off of a wife and she had little details about the boat. We took it out several times and seemed to run fine. Then it started stalling while at low speeds and sometimes not starting with out serious pumping. This all happening at higher elevations than where we live. We were out this weekend at a lake up about 2000 feet and it started with mild pumping the first day, more pumping needed the second day and the third day it would not start at all. We got back to our home, sealevel, started up without any pumping. We left it for a couple hours, came back and it started up again. Is there a fuel oxygen sensor on OMC motors? It runs fine at high RPMs once started but when it idles or is in slow speed for too long it will stall out and takes some coaxing to start back up. We know very little, basically next to nothing about boats, this is our first boat and we are just trying to get a little help. By the way, when this first started happening I took it in to a marine shop and had a engine service and tune up done. Looking for any and all help we can get....Someone please help out a newbie boater.

1. Welcome to iboats

2. 2000' is not high enough to cause any problems

3. boats do not have O2 sensors(a few brad new ones with cats do)

4. We need to know exactly what you have. It's an OMC, but OMC what? Stinger? Cobra?

5. What EXACTLY was included in the engine service and tune up?
