I am looking at a used (salvaged?) 25' CC with twin OBs. a little research says that the boat is set up with either jack shaft I/Os or inboards now. the questions is, do I re-re-power? I know the balance handling issues with OB vs. inboards changes, but if the boat was originally set up as an I/O/inboard is it better to revert back to that or keep the twin OB as is? my single inboard option would be of the 454/502 bbc variety (I think). As always ther is alway soem one on here who knows more than me so opinions are welcome- thanks
