Does it go to RPM reduction ?..Yamaha has 2 warning systems overheat or low oil ...you might have to reset the oil warning if you added oil after the warning (buzzer)..Low oil in remote tank indicated by soild horn ( intermitted on some models ).. on Yamaha's it should be located around or on top of cylinder head... toggle switch looking thing. If that doesnt help check your sensor... they might have a bad ground. Good luck

that engine has no reset switch.
the alarm is steady tone for all alarms and a blinking arrow or yellow lamp for low remote level.
the remote tank has no alarms just the visual indicate.
to reset the oil alarm condition on a 95 V6 simply bring the RPM below 1000 after transfering oil from remote to engine.
that gray toggle switch is a manual transfer switch.

did a continuity check on all tank sensors OKreserve tank motor was stuck and what does reduction mean doesnt go over 1900 rpms and if pushed past 1900 very bad banging on hull and motor ran ok under 1900rpms still has tellow arrow and buzzer tanks are filled????????
