Xr4 Mercury

My XR4 is running on the hot side when idleing. It has little water pressure and just spits water out of the little hole in the back of the motor. I had a pump put in two years ago.Can a pump go bad that quick. I also have some water coming out around one of the top bolts on the main motor mount. How do I fix this. Thanks cpose jr

Pump maintainance should be done each spring. It sounds like you might be losing some water pressure by the seals on the water delivery tube.

Professional routine pump maintainance should take care of it.
