what is your 350's temperature range

trying to find out if i have a temperatute problem or not i would like someone tell me what are the temperatures of a 305 or 350 (raw water cooled with a 142 Tstat)when cruising at 3000rpm or 4000rpm.My Tstat opens fully at about 168 so is it normal if i have temps up to 176? or since it's fully no more temp raising is permitted?

When was the last time your impeller was replaced?

Sometimes my motor runs too cool when I'm running in very cold lake water, but otherwise it runs a fairly consistent temp.

The gauges on your boat are hopelessly inaccurate.
The reading are best described as a representation of actual conditions.
Between the actual opening of the thermostat (degrees), the sending unit and the gauge, don't worry until the temperature reading is much higher.
You can set your mind at ease, rent or borrow a temp gun to check the readings.

My rebuilt 350 hasn't ran over 150 yet. Freshwater or saltwater.

Mine ran all day yesterday at about 145- 150 cruising or going though no wake.

175 all day long but shes .060 over 305 after sonic check
