2002 johnson 150 water line??

i just bought a 2002 johnson 150 and on the starboard side of the motor right above the middle spark plug there is a vent with a hose comming out of it that sprays water when the engine is running i cant figure out were the hose is supposed too hook to or any information on it at all, also on the lower unit right were it mates onto the midsection there is another vent which i also cannot find any information on

ask the seller, it might be a water pressure guage connector.
