I have this beast of a motor and it will not give me spark, i beleive i traced it to the powerpack. However... my step-father is an electrical engineer and says that it is giving off a sound, and may be drawing the correct power for it to work properly. he also brought up that it could be the coil pickup... my question is, is there an interference from the saftey switch not working properly?
We also managed to wire in an electronic ignition from a 74' road runner and found a way for it to give spark, but would need a resister that is seperate from that module, therefore making it pointless to use, so i put the powerpack back on.
(PS... Even cars of that year till 1972 didnt have electronic ignition, they were still using points!!!)
If anyone can give an explanation that wont cost me my kidney to repair, it would be a life saver!!!
