can somebody explain to me how to correctly adjust the air adjusting screw on a yamaha v-max 150 2002 modle?? I accidently thought they were the idle adjusting screws and moved them all to 1.5 turns out until I realized what they were, but the mistake was already made. Now I want to get them back to factory settings, but I am not sure what that is or how to correctly adjust them??? Here is the diagram that shows where they are:

The screw that I am talking about is #23. There are 6 of them total.....

Absolutly nothing. I had to pull that picture off the internet just to get the correct name. I have a 90 page manual and not one part of it list the screw that I am talking about.....Really aggrivating. Hoping someone on here has the factor settings for my motor or knows them?? Thanks JB for your comment..

My comment was aimed directly at the apparent fact that you are working on something you are not familiar with without correct support documentation. Guaranteed to cost you money and grief.

I share your frustration, IFH, but I haven't the correct manual and I have no idea how to set those air bleed screws. I have been messing with outboards for 60 years and I wouldn't touch an unfamiliar outboard without a Service Manual that details what I am about to do.

Good luck. Rodbolt should be along eventually. If he doesn't know nobody does.
