Does anyone have any advice as to the best sparkplug for a 1978 OMC 140 Stringer (4cyl. Chev) woukd be.

The correct cross-referenced NGK plug (hopefully they have one). I run NGK in everything and they work great.

Depends if you have factory ignition or aftermarket.Breaker less with a hotter coil and you run a colder plug.How is your plug reading?Dry black.Wet black, tan?As far as brand any one you like.
