You will get more traffic if you post your pic's instead of the link. Open two web broswers when your posting pic's, 1 with iboats & the other with your photo web site, open a pic, copy the address bar, click back over to iboats, hit the little icon with the montain & sun, paste address in pop up window, hit ok. Make sure your pic's are resized to 640x480.

Now about the boat, I think it looks worst that what it really is. Your gonna look like a hero when your done.

Welcome to iboats.

Before you venture too far into this restoration....... are you going to be able to register it? I would check into that before you spend another dime. Check with your local authorities.

welcome aboard, looks like alot of work to restore but the lines on the boat are great. I agree with bob make sure you can get paperwork on the boat. If you have time give a little info on the boat ie. where you got it hope it was free stuff like that.

Re: Glasspar Restoration

I believe this is a pre1972 glasspar, not sure what model I know it had a Johnson motor on it originally.

This boat had been sitting out in a field at my grandfathers. Not sure where it came from, and it was free. It had sat there for some time.

What do I need to know to find out if I can register this boat or not?

If you can't find the reg. numbers you might have to reg as homemade. if you do find reg. numbers call up the boat reg place & give them the numbers to find the last person reg to. Contact last owner by regestered mail/return reciept with the appropriate paperwork from the reg dept. Each state is different, but that's how it works in VA.
Good Luck
