2001 yamaha Stop and go

Need help!!

I have 2001 200Hp Yamaha Out bord motor.
I have no problem to start the motor and Driving slow but
when I driving Fast like 35000rpm to 40000rpm, motor got stop second and go,Repeat with out touch the throttle. sound like gas dose'n going in for second,and going in,specialy When I go over the wave, do that all the time.

Please Help me anyone Thank you

I had that same problem. Mine was that the fuel rail pressure was low causing the engine to cut out. I changed the 3 low pressure fuel pumps out and replaced all fuel filters including the one in the VST tank. I think the filter in the VST tank was my problem but I changed the other parts to rule them out. All of these parts are inexpensive and cost less than 150 bucks all together. Good Luck.


One more thing, DO NOT CONTINUE TO RUN THE ENGINE IN THIS CONDITION, you will do cylinder damage.
