Bellows placement

I'm replacing the bellows on a 97 genII unit and have a problem. The directions say that the bellows is marked "aft" or "up" by replacement bellows is not! Can someone please help?

The side with more ribs goes on the bottom so when the drive goes up there is more play than the other side with less ribs.
