Hello everybody,
i was wondering if someone could help me out. i have a 93 evinrude 115
e115tlets and it takes forever to get on plane, just acts like it has no power.
i have installed new carb kits; no result. replaced spark plugs and ran fine for two days now back at same prob. could it be the power pack?

Check the plugs most likely one will be wet and possibly fouled.
Get a spark checker.Check for a good strong spark.

If you got good compression and spark on all 4, look for debris/water in your fuel tank. Make sure the tank vent is open and clear. Was ethanol-blended gasoline recently introduced in your area?

Check your carb throttle valves, make sure they're still parallel, and opening fully when you go to WOT. And make sure the timer base is moving all the way to its stop when you throttle up.

i did have one plug that was wet. if looking at the back of the engine it was the top left.
i had the compression checked and it was fair. check spark; all good, but did it on the trailor, not under load, will that make a difference
