Thanks to a lot of great guys around here i've got my 1987 70hp Johnson running great
One thing tho, I put Champion plugs in & gapped to .030 & when i troll around or just cruise at planing speed & then set more than 30 minutes or so it's a bit hard to crank
Meaning instead of the normal "key touch" I need to prime & even sometimes use the high idle lever to get'er going- I'm thinking if i gap to .035 it might help keep the plugs from fouling at the lower speeds but wanted some more experienced opinions before i take it back out this weekend
