Thinking about buying a 1978 Tiara Pursuit 2000. It looks like a decent boat but i cant find anything on it regarding specs. According to this site dry weight is aprox 3000lbs. Not sure with which engine combo tho. The one I'm looking at has the 228hp 305 in it. Would like to know more about its performance (max & cruise speed), fuel consumption and how it does in rough water (Lake Huron) for fishing. We had a sea ray seville 19ft br. It worked ok up to 2.5ft waves but not practical for fishing. Any info would be helpful

I have a 79 tiara pursuit with the gm 305 I use in cape cod bay and around martha's vineyard. handles very well for a boat its size. I have the original sales brochure with all the specs. If you bought the boat PM me with an address and I'll send you a copy via snail mail. Bill
