merc 140 auto swap-any sugguestions?

hello to all, I'm guessing that Im like a bunc of other folks on here that is trying to find his way back to shore without a paddle. 1st time boat owner, taken by some a**hole for a loop. i purchased a used sea ray seville 89, back in october, which had proven to be noting sort of a money pit. in short the block and head is cracked, and im trying to figure out what kind of auto block i can swap it with. oh, its a merc 140 in it now. can anyone lend me some advice.

plenty of used 120 and 3.0 out somtime time cheaper to buy whole boat instead of seperate pieces.

Welcome. There isn't an auto engine that you can use for the 120/140.

and im trying to figure out what kind of auto block i can swap it with. oh, its a merc 140 in it now.

Ayuh,... Unfortunately, that motor hasn't seen the Hi-way since about 1962.....
