Seahorse cd-17 fuel line

Just received a CD-17 seahorse. this beauty has not been run in a few years and was rebuilt. It did not come with a gas tank. My question is...does this motor run on back pressure? or can I just get a fuel line and stick it in a gas tank.

my cd-15 is equipped the dual fuel line and i'm getting ready to convert to single line. I did a search within this forum and found pretty detailed instructions on how to do it... wish I could be of more help... rather new to these old motors myself. Be sure to hit the "search this forum" button and not just the "search" button or all kinds of oddball stuff will come up.
