76 55HP impeller Needed

I have a 1976 55 HP 50373R S/N E0003841 and I am having problems locating a water pump impeller and key for it. It does not take a half moon key but that is what all the part#'s I have looks at states it does.
It is more of a groove machined in the side of the shaft and inside of impeller. There was a little piece of PVC pipe stuck in there for a key when I took it apart, or maybe this is what the key looks like?
It is not a groove through he impeller end to end but a notch cut out on one end up 3/4 the way up.
Is this something that has to be upgraded somehow to the half moon keyed impeller or are these still available somewhere?

I called iboats parts help and they could not help find the part. I am looking at a bunch of pictures and ran across an impeller for a 1979-1996 85 hp evinrude. Part # 18-3059. Will this work, I don't want to order the wrong part.
Or can someone steer me to an iboats rep that may know about these impellers?

(The parts in the rebuidl kit do not look the same but the impeller does.)

How strange, I ran into the same thing on my 1978 85hp.

It looks like there's another one that uses the "wedge" key, p/n 18-3053.

I'm not sure which one would fit yours, though. Are there any part numbers on your old impeller?

Thanks, It looks like there are only two that use the wedge key, a 3053 0r a 3059.
Hopefully someone will chime in here and know which one.
