1994 Evinrude 115 Removal

I will be removing a 94 rude 115 with the cherry picker. Wondering were you are suppost to hook the chain. Do you make a lifting rig to screw into the three threaded holes in the fly? Or is there some way I'm just not seeing?:confused:

OMC makes a specific tool to lift the engine from the three bolt holes in the flywheel. If you don't know someone that has one, you can use a regular automotive 3-bolt puller and run the chain through it after you get the puller tight on the flywheel. It's won't be very well balanced, but you are not lifiting a lot of weight either.

Thanks emd, thats exactly what I just did, except I used an eye bolt in the center of the puller with a single nut and flat washer on the bottom and a flat washer with a double nut up top. Cost about $20.00 for everything.
