Check out plastidip.com

They make a vinyl repair 'paint' which sounds promising for your issue. I just happened to see the product, so I have no idea how well it works.

I have used a Vinyl cement from Lowes (I can't remember the brand off the top of my head) but I took a small peice of new vinyl and put in on like a patch a few years back and it is holding up great.

I've used plastidip on my front springs of my pickup.

It has help up incredibly well. Very happy with it.

Honestly though, I would probably just fix the seat. A small rip should only cost you $25-50 for a professional to repair it. Or replace that seat cushion with new vinyl yourself.

thanks for the replys, the seat looks like new other than the "hidden" spot where it has the small tear on the side so i will try some repair glue before i shell out 100 bucks for a new cover, if glastron is still answering the phone....

I have the same problem. I have decided to use Permatex.
