Okay, I feel like a real moron here. I inherited a boat from my father (The boat I grew up in). I am looking for a specific part. It's a 1974 Evinrude 25 hp. Its the small piece with the 2 u-shaped prongs. I need just that part, not the whole kit. Any idea where to buy just that part or am I stuck buying a whole kit for a 50 cent part?

Thanks for any help

to be honest, buy the complete kit, and put the connectors away for the future. as the old ones will give up soon.
here are the BRP #s just for the brackets and hardware.

49 0305736 LOCK,Throttle
50 0305737 LOCK,Shift
48 0305738 SPRING,Lock 2 needed
47 0303551 SCREW,Lock 2 needed

You can get the clips at any BRP/OMC dealer. I don't remember the price, but they aren't expensive.

Thank you for your help!
I probably will just order the kit, since it still has the original parts on it from when it was new.
