I normally drop my boat in lake(Lanier) herein North Georgia...no long distance towing. I pull a 14K pound 5th wheel most of the time.We are thinking about renting a house and taking our Bayliner Rondevous to the beach for some good times in St Andrews Bay. Should I be concerned about towing a boat so far.New tires on trailer=but it probably hasn't been 1,000 miles since it was new(993).I a mthinking about having the bearings looked at(anything else). Please let me know what your thoughts are.

Check the brakes, the bearings and the lights, then go have fun.

Re: towing from Atlanta to Destin

get your self a spare tire and a jack and tools to change it.maybe a grease gun and grease,
fill the tires to the presure on the side of the tire
check the temp of the bearings and tires about every 50 miles.if you have breaks on the trailer they will be a little warmer but not hot.
if no breaks you should be able to put your hand on them and not fry your self
if you can't leave your hand on there for 10 or 15 seconds could be a sign of a problem starting
