What kind of outdrive do I have ?

I have a 1979 wellcraft. I know I have a Mercruiser 305 counterclockwise rotation it also says 228 on the vavle cover . But have know idea what kind of out drive I have. Can any one help ?

Ayuh,.... It's a Model 1 if it's the original...

bravo drives have a cone clutch w/fork in the upper housing and the alphas use a clutch dog (ramped tooth) in the lower housing
