I have a 2006 Tahoe Q4 S/F- the floor area is carpeted and is a pain to deal with. Have any of you removed the carpet on this type of boat? Wondering what floor is under it?
Bummer not to have snap in carpet...especially on a boat intented for fishing. Should be part of the F&S package. There is a thread here somewhere where someone removed carpet from a newer Bayliner. I seem to recall it was a bit of a pain to recoat the floor.
I have a 2001 Q3 s/f with a 150efi and the carpet is one that I don't like but have gotten use to it (if one can). I do keep it clean as possible with sweeper/bissel steam cleaner if nedeed.Maine thing I do is keep the snap in cushions out when fishing and frount well cover turned to carpet side.
I was just wandering if you ever took out the carpet. I recently bought a 2004 Q4 sf, and I hate having carpet. If you have any tips, please let me know.

No, never took it out. It was too much trouble. If it gets really wet, we keep a fan running for a day over the carpet after we get back. Iagree though- it is a pain.
