I have a 2003 90hp Mercury Motor that just started have a constant beep on the alarm behind the key harness. The beeping started while on the water. It was a good thing that I was close to the ramp. I just installed a new impeller, stats, poppet valve along with gaskets and diaphragms. The oil reservoir is full. But as soon as I turn on the key I get a constant beep even now three days later parked in the driveway. I understand that a low oil warning is a constant beep-beep and a over heating warning is a constant beep. Is there a test that check on the module/sensor. Could it be defective. Better yet I first need to identify the module to test it.
