I picked up an old 1966 Sea Ray with a Mercuiser Model 150 in it. The lower unit on the rear was broken by someone hired by a previous owner. Is there some source for these parts? Barring that, is there someone looking for parts from that boat? If I can't get parts, I'm fine with selling it. Thank you.

So, is there another lower unit that would fit this motor? Is it worth hunting down parts?

You can find engine parts. But that is an OLD 1C EZ drive. Forget about parts. It's a 1966 model. That boat better really be something to make the change over to something else worth it. You will be able to find a newer running boat for what it's going to cost to repower.

That's what I have suspected. I'm just going to offer the trailer for sale with the provision that they have to haul the boat away, too.
