2003 225 honda should it be peeing

My brother in law has a 2003 225hp 4 stroke someone told him that it does not pee water because it it air cooled is this true

Someone informed him wrong. Definitely should be peeing and it is water cooler.

I thought so i did not think it was air cooled probably clooged water inlet i heard that honda was know for that
