aerator - pump or switch?

My aerator pump on my live well ('95 Fisher F/S) works fine in the Manual position and fills fine. However, NOTHING happens when the switch is put in the Timed position. Do you think I need a new pump or toggle switch?
And, how can I check which needs to be replaced? Thanks in advance.

Look for voltage either at the switch or pump. You should have it on two wires going into the pump depending on which position it is in. This is assuming the timer is in the pump. If you have power to two wires, then the pump needs replacing.

Well if the pump work when in manual, then the pump is good.

Either the switch is bad, or the timer is bad.
