Ideas of a buzzer going off.

I'm looking at buying a older silverline boat with a 90 hp Force.

We took it out yesterday for a test run and all seemed well except for a buzzer going off intermittently. The owner of the boat had no idea what it was but called and told me last night it was a low fuel warning.

I have also heard it is a buzzer that warns of over heating of the motor and would need a new water pump and such.

Any thoughts please.

Not many boats have such a thing as a low fuel buzzer. That is an OVERHEAT buzzer.Fortunatly it's an easy fix. Replace the impeller and it should stop.
Change the oil in lower unit at the same time(make sure you don't remove the shift pin).Get a manual.J
