Cool Fuel Cover

I have a '99 Sea Ray 215 Express Cruiser 5.0 EFI. It won't start. I replaced the fuel/water separater and cleaned the injectors. I located the Cool Fuel case on the starboad side of the motor. I can pop the cover loose but can't remove it. There doesn't appear to be enough room. Any ideas?

I located the Cool Fuel case on the starboad side of the motor.

Somebody has been messing with your engine. That cool fuel unit should be on the port side of the engine down behind the motor mount.

Are you sure you have a fuel problem? Have you checked for spark?

Too get the cover the rest of the way off you will need to remove the too nut's that is holding the fuel pump bracket on, And slide it off the too studs, So it will hang down in the bilge area a little, giving you more room to pull the cover off. The too nut's that hold it up in place will be mounted to the top of the motor mount bracket to the engine block.In this link you will need to look for and open Fuel pump and fuel cooler and open it and look at number 28 "nut" To help understand what i am talking about. Ok I can't let you guys down. "I meant the starboard side as you are looking at the motor." Honestly I get it, it's the port side of the boat.
