rough/stalling 4.3 after winter storage

Own a 1989 4.3 after starting in driveway from winter storage ran it for 30 mins up & down on RPM's in gear and out ran great. Took it for sea trial ran fine for first 30 mins on plan up to 3.5K then stalled in gear, would re-start in neutral but when bringing on RPM's would run rough and stall. Brought it back to house, changed fuel/water filter, clean fuel no dirt. Restarted did the same on re-start would start but stall at higher rpm's.Treated fuel prior to winter storage, mechanic says try new coil & Ingintion module?

Plugs have 25 hrs, carb re-built 50 hrs ago, fresh battery. ANY IDEA's.

Hey SeanLucky02, I just posted this repair log for a very, very similar stalling issue. It turned out to be a plugged up fuel pickup inside the tank, but I had other issues too. Give it a read and see if it helps.

Similar indeed, You are a patient MAN to work thru your events without grounding her in frustration! Going to look at small filter on fuel line outside of Carb and make sure accelartor pump on carb working, if clear and pumping then review how to pull Fuel Pick up line from inside tank. I think my problem is just what you discovered on your boat, the symptems are nearly identical easy fix once you know the problem.

Ayuh,.... It's called Diagnosis,....
Create the Problem, Find the Cause,+ Fix it.....

It's Much more effective,+ Much cheaper than just Throwing parts at it because somebody said it Could be....
