I have a 2001 ficht 115 hp which has no fast idle on start up. Starts most times but only at idle speed 600-700 rpms. Sometimes it starts then stops and must use warm up lever to start. Once started it starts everytime with the turn of the key. I replaced the temperature sensor in the air box thinking that the outside air temp was not being read by the computer. Still no fast idle. Has anyone had this problem.

It's probably not a problem. On my 175 E-Tecs, the EMM controls the idle and they start right around 450 to 475 RPM and stay there (even in gear @ idle). The fast idle lever has no effect and is not needed. Your Ficht may be the same deal.

The manual for the ficht says that it should have a fast idle and that it should not be shifted into gear until fast idle comes down. The warm up lever does increase the throttle but should not have to be used on a fuel injected motor however if my ficht doesn't start first try it will only kick unless I use it at which time it starts at high rpm.

You'll get better results for your Ficht at Bass Boat Central, the J/E section. Ask for Seahorse in your subject line. He's very knowledgeable with all the DI motors.
