Horsepower Changes

I was told the only difference between the hp ratings is the intake and carb setups. I have a 90 hp power head and a 115 powerhead and a 150 powerhead. I would like to use the piston and rods and power head from the 90 hp set up with the intake and carbs from the 150 set up. I think i have to use the 150 midsection also. Would anyone know if this will work or not?

Mike, it sounds like you are talking about inline 6 powerheads, please clarify.

Yes i am. all three are in the mid 70's.
