I have a 1972 Glastron Carlson cv-16 Volvo Penta with a 270 Outdrive. It is in pretty good shape but I am lookoing for some new vents for thew rear and am not sure of the optimum size and pitch for the prop. Can anyone shed some light on these items?

Re: glastron carlson cv-16 restoration

capt mac marine 1800-759-5390 has found some parts for my cv16...they are are very tough to find parts for so good luck...if you happen to stumble across a windshield bracket for a cv16 fopr the passenger side let me know I have been looking for years...

as far as your prop goes I tried a number ofr props on my boat and found that a stainless 21 ballistic gave me about 48mph @ 4300rpm...boat launches out of the water excellent and gave me 13mph faster thean the 19 aluminum I was running

hope that helps

I am looking for rear vents for a 1972 CV 16 stern drive. Did you have any luck in your search?
