I have a 2001 Evinrude Ficht 250, it start and idles fine with no problem but as soon as i gun it, it only runs for about 5 to 10 seconds and then it shuts down completely without making a sound (no beeping at all) and then it wont turn or start for a good 20 minutes.. the alarm horn works fine and it not over heating..
