need a shift handle for my 25 johnny

First off, I have a 1975 25r75b Johnson tiller handle. i want to be able to shift from the front of the motor.So what Im looking for is a way to put a shifter on the front of the motor like late model ones have. i willing to fab one, but do any of you know anywhere i mite buy one. Any help would be great.

Won't be cheap "new"! You might find a "parts" motor for sale on eBay, or at a local marine dealer ... where you could get the required pieces.

ok this is what im looking for. see the shifter in the pic i have seen those on evirudes an johnsons. they are on the side of the motors.

thanks for the help like you said expensive. So i built one for it out of some aluminum angle. Ill put up some pics tomorrow. Again thank yall for your time, help and information. i think im gona enjoy this sight alot.

OK here is the final project the geometry gave me fits, but i finally got it to work right.

Thanks Steve, but i suffer from that disease some of us are far to familiar with called shortness..... short arms an legs lol its a good reach for me from the seat.
