Do I Need Replace The Stator?...Pics..175 Sport Jet

I have a 1997 Mercury Sport Jet 175xr2. My flywheel magnets broke off and damaged the Stator. I don't believe the damage is enough to have to replace the stator but I would appreciate a little advice from someone who knows a little more than I do. I have taken a few pics and posted them. Thanks for any help.

I am also looking for a new or used flywheel if anyone knows a good place to get one.

That should run, clean it up and put some epoxy on any cracks or gouges

I responded to your flywheel request, on the other post you made.

yup clean it up get the flywheel I suggested and give it a go,,if not outboardignitions.com item#174-9610k2 depending on your serial #
or Sierra #18-5876 also depending on the serial # if I am not mistaken
