I just bought a bassbost with the above & was wondering how long it should take to turn all 3 lights to green with knowing all 3 batteries are at least 75% charged
Reason i ask is i had it pluged in for at least 12hrs & all i got was 2 green lights :(

Re: 3 Bank OnBoard Charger Question

depends on a couple of things.

if 75% = 12.3v (12.0 v is considered about 50% drained) then you may have troubles. A couple of reasons it may not be a problem is:
1. something is draining at the same time you are using it (or you have some loose connection or corrosion)
2. The battery is really big, & the charger is really small

1 is the likely problem, unless it is that the battery is dead.

if you consider 75% = 9v... keep waiting, likely fine.

Re: 3 Bank OnBoard Charger Question

Depending on what the current rating of the charger is and how deeply discharged the battery is, it may take far longer than 12 hours to charge it. For all you know that one battery may be bad. Have them load tested.
