It is an electric Sea Horse and I think it is a 40hp. What year would it be? The lower unit looks too small. Is it possible to put a smaller one on and work? Who has parts? I Evinrude/Johnson only goes back to 1968. Thanks.

Too small??? Nah. Many but not all parts are he same as the 1968. Best thing to do is get a parts list specific to your motor. Many parts are still available from a dealer if you can furnish the numbers.

Wondering--did somebody adapt a "quicky" (racing) lower unit to it? That would be a rare bird indeed.

If you need a service manual for that great old motor, send me a Private Message with your email address and I will reply with it attached. Good luck!
