We recently acquired a 2006 Honda 25 Four Stroke. The type with the choke on the engine and the throttle. The previous owner let us know it had sat up for a while and was not idling. So we broke down and cleaned the entire fuel system, carbs, fuel lines, filter, tank, everything. Still wouldn't idle. So i went and bought some sea foam. Injected it into the carbs and let it sit for a couple hours. Cleared the bowls, put fresh gas in, and it still will not idle. We are at a loss and was wondering if anyone had a diagram of a Honda 25 carb, so we can make sure we take EVERYTHING apart and clean it the next go around, since we are going to be pulling the carbs again. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Take the carb apart and clean the little venturi tube out. It is real common for them to get clogged. Remove the carb, remove the bowl, remove the big flat tip screw in the bottom of the carb body, gently pry (small screwdriver or needlenose) tube out through carb opening (can't remember if it is the choke side or not). Take a small piece of wire or torch tip cleaner and clean the tube out. One end has a very small hole that is what usually gets clogged. There are also 2 holes on the side of the tube that will need cleaned out also. Once it is cleaned out with the wire, do a visual inspection and spray with carb cleaner. You should be able to see light through the tube once it is clean. I have to do this alot on my Hondas because of the amount of use they get.
