Aluminum Boat wiring question

Did anyone use the hull as ground when running wires? Or do You run a seperate ground back to the battery for each item. ie: bow light, 1 wire from it or two?

I run a big ground wire from the battery to a junction panel under the dash. I then run a ground from each thing to the junction box.

Don't rely on the hull for a ground, especially in salt water.

Individual ground wires for everything and also ground the hull. Don't rely on the hull ground for anything though.

Buy yourself a MARINE electrical buss block or put a MARINE fuse box in and you will not have to run all your wires to the battery.

Ayuh,... Don't use the hull for the Ground path,... Your hull will Disappear...
