Where is the number on the block of a johnson 150? The serial numbers on the tag is unreadable. Thanks.

The model should be on a freeze plug on top aft part of block.

There are two indicators on the typical crossflow block. There is the model information stamped on the casting plug on the top of the block. In addition, the machinist will stamp the factory machining/porting information on a casting web at the top of the block. In this case it is stamped 150.
