I have a 1985 Yamaha 90HP outboard. It recently had the carbs rebuilt and fuel system flushed. The motor idles and runs in gear great cold or warm. After running back to the dock from fishing all day, I can't get the motor to stop from stalling at low rpm to assist in docking. The motor will start but immediately dies when put into gear. The motor will rev up with the throttle or if you shift fast will run under load. It will just not run in gear under 1000 rpm.

Any suggestions

Sounds like carbs may need to be readjusted after motor is warmed up

Maybe check your primer bulb for operation. If the check valves in primer bulb are fouled up or not working it can give problems. Good Luck!
