I am looking to buy a 2004 Sun Tracker Fishin Barge 21' w/ a 2004 Mercury Tracker 50hp Outboard.

How fast should this boat go?

I would say 15 mph to 18 mph depending on load.

Expect 18-19 mph with just you on board. I have an '08 Sun Tracker 20 with a 60 4 stroke and my top is between 20 and 21 mph.

I have the same size boat and motor, I'm a big guy and get about 17-18 with GPS

We had a 20ft. Crestliner pontoon FS with a 50 Evinrude and top speed with 2 people and full tank of fuel (20 gal.) was 17 on glass and 16 with small chop. Speed was checked with GPS
