has anyone else made a claim in that Cummins law suit? my buddy told me about it ? supposedly there?s a condensation problem with the aftercooler and water can get in the engine and break it down?and now u can get your engine fixed before it breaks or paid back if u already repaired it (i think ? confused on that but ill talk about it later). i haven?t had any problems yet but this is getting me worried ? water in the engine like that is obviously no good.

i remember reading about this a few months back on some board but hadn?t heard anything more until my friend just said he went to the law suit website, made a claim, and is now getting his 6C retrofitted for free with a valve or a drain hole, forget which. he called his dealer before he made the claim and they said they?ve heard of problems like this and said taking the retrofit should pretty much be a no brainer.

i usually don?t pay much attention to law suits like this but i think im gonna make the claim. don?t want it bustin up down the line. has anyone else made a claim or thinkin about it? has anyone else already had a problem with the condensation in the engine? the website says you can make a claim whether you?ve had a problem or not. I guess that means you can get the aftercooler changed if there hasn?t been a problem or you get repaid for replacing a broken engine? im not sure, anyone know?

the website seems easy enough though:

anyway, just wonderin what the deal is with this and trying to give a heads up to anyone interested.
