300 yamaha that want run high rpms

need some help please have a yamaha z300 txrd 2005 that idle fine but at full throttlewill only run about 1800 rpms last time out boat started out running 4200 rpms with a miss was shut down then would only run 1800 compression checks good on all cylinders help please thanks

if compression is within 10 PSI on all cylinders then check the lift pumps,VST tank filter and medium pressure inline filter.
on the inline filter you MUST use the correct oerlicker clamp and the proper setting tool to install the new filter.
once all the above are tested check high pressure fuel rail pressure. this can be done with the diagnostic software or the tune up spec guide or service manual and a multimeter.

your diagnosis was right on rebuilt pull pumps changed all filtres and plugs everything is back to normal thanks

Installation of a Racor 2 Micron fuel/water seperator could help reduce recurrence of these issues. Good Luck!
