Man, I would really like to watch the Penn State v Michigan game this afternoon (evening for me), but don't know how I can get it ... At home I would log into my Comcast account and then go to ESPN360 (I think it is on there today). But here 360 is blocked. Comcast won't let me watch a thing. Have tried a proxy, but they won't let me log into Comcast.Any suggestions, ideas? This is not an area that I am smart in ... need a little help. How can I get around the "Ghana blocking" and watch MY PSU defeat the Wolverines today????

You need to rout through an anonymous proxy server. The problem is, most free servers are very slow, especially with streaming content.

Try this -

Search for 'browser9.com'
In the browser9 search engine, type

http://espn.go.com/broadband/espn360/index

If the site loads, you're in!

Penn State Nittany Lions and Michigan Wolverines ... no ignorance on your part, just a different part of the world. Excuse MY ignorance when dealing with proxies ...

Browser9 says because I am in Ghana I can forget about using them ... not in those words, but close!

I don't see any other options, sorry.

Would you like to know the score?

My son watches a lot of stuff on P2P streaming. As soon as he is back from work I will post the links for you.

Here try this http://www.hide-my-ip.com/ I'm running it so I can watch the BBC on line, it's blocked outside the UK, I just choose a British IP and it works fine . They have a free no string attached 14 day trail............

O.K.
Google search for Stream Torrent Version 1.0 and download it.
Install it to desktop
Then exit out and the icon should remain on your desktop.

Then type in for this website
www.myp2p.eu

Click on live sports
Click on American Football
Find your game
Click on it and stream torrent will start up

Alternatively try this website
www.justin.tv

Good Luck and I hope you get to see the game.
We have watched this way a few times when the Giants games were not on locally for us.

Thanks, Ken ... I am watching a little of the Pitt game right now ... connection is rough, won't get to see much with the breaks in the streaming video and the connection speed on our end ... but a little is better than nothing.

Glad you at least got something. Nothing like watching it on the real TV though is there. We had some catch up (freezing) issues as well but it was only freezing for about 3 seconds every 5 minutes or so. Funny how it never froze once for us during the commercials or half time !!!!

It won't help with watching your game now, but have you considered getting a slingbox? I have one for when I travel and can use my PC to connect back to my home cable and see TV from home.

Re: Help with Proxies ... or other ideas ...

Well, Ken's feed worked for some games, but there were no active feeds for the PSU v. Michigan game. :(

A friend ended up using their web cam to capture the game and then broadcast it to me via skype ... quite jumpy in picture, but I had the sound and could keep up with the action ... better than nothing!

Thanks for all the help and thoughts.
