I've always drank plenty, so I assumed. I would drink a half gallon of brewed decaf tea a day, I thought that was good, but apparently not.
Since I came home from the hospital, I've been drinking a TON. Water mixed with lemonade, water mixed with cranberry, water mixed with pomegranate, etc.
Never had one but had friends that do. I can not imagine what pain you have to go through !!!

Man dude that sounds like it hurts bad, I am thankful that I haven't had kidney stone, Wow it sounds like complete torture. Good luck!! And hope you have a quick recovery, Man that sounds bad!!
I got them 5 years ago...I waited too long before going to the ER and I was in pain..at first I thought I just pulled a muscle and tried to just walk it off...
by the time I went I could barely walk but I couldnt sit still...I got 4 shots of Morphine and 5 shots of Oxycontin before it was over and I was still in pain...they finally had to put me out to get the MRI as i couldnt hold still...
I have a very high pain tolerance so when I actually did feel it the meds had a hard time working and I also have a high drug tolerance...so that never helps...
Still got one to pass, and am semi doped up, so still have some work to do. My wife already gave me off for tomorrow, it's great owning your own business.
I have been passing them for 30 years, Had one lazered last week, and 2 lithotripsyd. No fun to be had with these little buggers. av passed well over 100. I guess after a while things strech out down there. Most arent as bad as they once were.
I've had three of them ,first one in 2000. It would not leave the kidney, doctor didn't want to go after it because of the location, so I lived on Hydrocodones for six weeks. He finally ended up having to go get it anyway. The second one I passed but still ended up in surgery to repair the scar tissue caused by it passing. The third he was able to bust up with Liptotrispy [sp.] and I only felt beat up for about a week. No sir, they are no fun at all....
