Sme of you will recall the issue i had 2 months ago where i was cruising along and the boat dies and would not refire. The issue at that time was the vent in the gas cap was clogged, the tank collapsed and the fuel pump starved and burnt up. I had the fuel pump replaced and the tank was ok and I have used the boat for 25 hours since then without issue
Today my 80 year old g-ma is down from NY and i have been looking forward to taking her for a ride we had not used the boat in two weeks but she fired right up. I had her idling and warming up as we all got settled in the boat and just as i was getting ready to sit down and cast off it died. I tried restarting but no luck. I checked the fuel filter and it had gas in it. I stipped the top cover off the flame arrestor took that off and looked down the carb as my wife pumped the throttle and it shoot fuel freely. I checked all spark plug connections and they are fine. I pushed in on the red breaker buttons and none were tripped.
I let it sit tried starting and no luck, i tried pumping the hell out of the throttle and no luck
Waht is next - i REALLY want to get her out ont he water but the shops are closed and the boat is scheduled to be winterized this week. What could possibly be wrong now. I take such good care of this boat it is getting very frustrating
Battery is new with the fuel pump and she cranks over just fine just wont fire up
Please help
